When it comes to considering my philosophy for teaching, my whole goal is to inspire students to be passionate about the English language and to help make a difference in their lives. To me, my job is not to regurgitate information to my students and have them present it back to me, but rather inspire them to explore these topics on their own and discover other possible answers. I only succeed if I am passing on my passion for English to my students. Although practicing reading and writing is important and knowing the proper use of these are beneficial, I believe that students will not apply what they have learned unless they see a point behind it. I want to introduce to my students how what they learned and are passionate about in my class can be applied to other aspects of their lives.
